The Adventures of Tintin (2011)

For my last show at Weta, I was Textures Lead on the Costumes on Tintin. This was a really fun show - we had a full costume team on site who created beautiful costumes for all the characters, so we had all the clothing on hand plus so much very high resolution reference, it was a dream! I did the initial textures for Tintin's costume plus some of the Captain's, plus a handful of props. One of my favorite memories of this show was that my family's pet, a Siamese called Koko, was used as reference for the cat that is seen (very briefly) in the apartment scene! He was not at all sure about the bright lights of the reference camera set up, but quickly got ready for his close up after some treats were presented.

I didn't do any work on the cat, but he was based on my family's cat, Koko!
